Bluebells Day Nursery in Partridge Green is currently recruiting enthusiastic people to join our team and work ad hoc hours during the week to help cover staff lunch breaks, training and absence.

No childcare qualification needed, just an interest in working with children and helping them learn.

The setting

At Bluebells Day Nursery in Partridge Green we think of things a little differently. We want to 'break the mould' on 'traditional' childcare and with the experience of our close knit staff team can create our own approach to childcare and education.

We listen to children and encourage them to think of their own theories, the play rooms are set up in a way for children to test their hypotheses as we believe this is the best way to learn.

The nursery itself has three light and welcoming playrooms with lots of natural, open ended and reclaimed resources to explore, a large spacious garden and access to surrounding fields all of which positively impact, inspire and nurture the inquisitive mind of every child.

We work with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) which allows us to support the children's development in the seven areas of learning and taking inspiration from Forest School, Reggio Emilia and Montessori which embed the principles of respect, responsibility and community through their own play, discoveries and exploration.

The applicant must be able to;

Demonstrate a keen interest in learning and developing.

Ensure high standards of health and safety and activity promote the well-being of all children

Support the nurseries vision and create an inclusive environment that promotes equal opportunities for all children

Promote positive relationships with the children and their families

Communicate and work well as part of the team

Be a positives role model to children

Have a sense of humour, common sense and a 'can do' attitude!
