Main Responsibilities:
To report to the Director Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager.
You will be taught to conduct all normal duties carried out by Early Years Practitioners.
To provide a safe and always stimulating environment.
To deliver an appropriate play based Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum that enables children to make individual progress.
To help ensure the nursery meets all OFSTED requirements.
To plan activities which ensure each child is working towards the early learning outcomes. Strive for Continuous Improvements.
Adhering to Policies & Procedures & compliance with the Children Act, Health & Safety legislation and within the guidelines of Ofsted.
Person Spec (Required):
An enhanced DBS check is required by My Childcare and Me before any appointment can be confirmed.
Level 2/3 in Childcare
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From 13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 - 30 per week
Schedule:
Day shift Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
Blackheath, SE3 0BU: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
Diploma of Higher Education (preferred)
Experience:
Nursery: 1 year (preferred) Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
