Your role: what you will be doing.

As Casual Bank Staff at Daisy Fays, you'll step into a supportive and flexible role that allows you to make a real difference in children's lives while adapting to your schedule. You'll work as a vital part of our team to create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment. Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting your colleagues in delivering engaging and educational activities

that inspire curiosity and encourage children's development toward key milestones.

Supervising children throughout the day

to ensure their safety, well-being, and happiness during play, learning, and rest times.

Assisting with essential nursery tasks,

such as maintaining hygiene standards, room preparation, and resource organization.

Upholding the highest standards of child welfare,

safeguarding, health, and safety policies, ensuring a secure environment for all.

Bringing your energy and positivity

to maintain a cheerful and collaborative atmosphere across the nursery.

Requirements: What we're looking for

We're seeking dynamic and passionate individuals to join our casual team. The ideal candidate will have:


A

Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (essential)

.

Previous experience

in roles such as Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Early Years Educator, Nanny, or Childminder. A

genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development

, with a creative approach to making education fun.

Strong communication skills

to connect effectively with children, colleagues, and parents.

A sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding practices.

The

ability to be adaptable and flexible

, stepping into different roles and responsibilities as needed.

Please note, due to our sector, all roles are subject to an

Enhanced DBS and Paediatric First Aid certification

. All personnel will be required to

subscribe to the DBS Update service once the DBS has been applied for.
