Bank Early Years Educator

A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable for this role, or previous experience working in a childcare setting.

Please note: we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.

Pay:

10 - 12.80 per Hour

*plus accrued holiday pay

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday. Zero hour contract - this gives you flexibility to work different shifts each week depending on the Nursery needs.

Nestled in the heart of York, we are conveniently located in the heart of York city centre, with our main entrances on The Queen's Path next to the Minster and on Deangate.

What Your Role Involves

As a valued member of our team, you'll:


Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive. Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework. Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Monitor and celebrate children's development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
