We have an exciting opportunity for 2 General Practitioners to join our Primary Care team at HMP Belmarsh. HMP Belmarsh is a category A Prison located in South East London, close to Plumstead and Woolwich Arsenal stations. The prison houses around 675 patients with a variety of needs include complex physical and mental health. Within this role you will be working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team including 2 other permanent 2 GP's providing excellent clinical care and treatment.Hourssessions can be any time Monday to Friday 9am-10pm and Saturdays 9am-2pmSalaryThis is a bank role offer xc2xa3100 per hourHow will we support you?

• MBChB or MBBS
• Inclusion on the GMC Register and GP Performers List
• Evidence of engagement with annual appraisal
• Experience working as a General Practitioner in community general practice
• Ability to work with patients with a history of substance misuse
• RCGP Certificate in Substance Misuse 1 and 2, or prepared to undertake these qualifications

With no administrative tasks, bloods to file, documents to check, it was as close to the acute care as a GP could get.
