Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
Assist with meal preparation, ensuring all food is prepared in a timely manner.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
Ensure all food safety standards are met, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
Help train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and food safety protocols.
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
