Location: Hybrid/London (Hybrid working available after period of time in office)
IR35: Inside
Pay Rate: Up to 250p/d

Annapurna has partnered with a trusted NHS client on the search for a Senior ER (Employee relations) advisor, Band 6.

The successful candidate will act as the liaison for managers on all employee relations matters. They will manage a large, mixed case load of Performance, Sickness, Disciplinary and grievance absences. and they will review all logged cases and advise if they should be managed informally or taken forward to panel.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE SENIOR EMPLOYEE RELATIONS ADVISOR

• Graduate calibre or person with significant relevant experience.
• CIPD or equivalent
• Evidence of continued learning/development
• Developed written and oral communication skills for a variety of formal and informal purposes.
• Analytical skills to be able to assess and understand employee relations issues in order that they are resolved in a pragmatic and timely manner.
• Ability to communicate HR protocols and procedures, and advise managers in a manner that enhances the HR function.
• Able to foster productive working relationships internally and externally
• Proven ability to effectively manage a range of situations that may evoke a high level of emotional reaction.
• Able to identify a range of options, associated risks and barriers in relation to a range of employee relations scenarios
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Ability to work with unpredictable and intense situations and under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
• Attention to detail
• Political awareness
• Experience in providing employee relations advice and support to managers in a large complex organization with union recognition
• Experience of working in the NHS
• Experience of contributing to service development

This is a 6 month contract, and the successful candidate will start ASAP.
