We are seeking a Senior Rota Co-Ordinator with excellent communication skills to join the Acute, General and Geriatric Medicine team, who will manage the mega rota across their services and medical specialities. The role involves working Monday to Friday in agreement with your line manager in conjunction with the teams hours between 8am and 5pm.



The postholder will be required to work closely with Consultants and Junior Doctors to ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained and the services are not adversely impacted



The applicant should have an impeccable telephone and email manner and confidence in dealing with people at all levels are essential. You should be a team player, meticulous, detail oriented and enthusiastic with the ability to work in a challenging and changing environment.



The post holder must be able to meet deadlines and work as an integral member of the divisional rota team.



The post holder will line manage a band 4 Rota administrator and provide cross cover the Senior Rota Coordinator in Emergency Medicine.
