We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Back of House Team Member to join our vibrant kitchen team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the culinary operations by assisting in meal preparation, food safety, and ensuring a clean and efficient kitchen environment. Duties
Assist in the preparation of meals according to established recipes and standards.
Support cooks in food preparation tasks, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained properly.
Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service times.
Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Experience
Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary terminology is advantageous.
Understanding of food safety practices and regulations is beneficial.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards collaboration in the kitchen.
