Headstart Day Nursery & Pre-School has an exciting opportunity for an Enthusiastic practitioner to join our friendly team as a Baby Room Leader. If you can think on your feet and have the necessary skills to inspire and enrich the lives of young children in their early learning, then we want to hear from you.

Applications will only be accepted if you hold a relevant qualification within Early Years.

Baby Room leader position, working 42.5 hours per week, ideally working 8.30-5.30 or 9.00-6.00. This position is for 5 days a week, Monday to Friday.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate their ability to:

Effectively deliver the EYFS ensuring that the individual needs and interest of children in the setting are met (in conjunction with other team members)

Support other staff and engage in a good staff team.

Develop and maintain strong partnerships and communication with parents/carers to facilitate day-to-day caring and early learning needs.

Ensure the provision of a high quality environment to meet the needs of individual children having an awareness of any disabilities, family cultures and medical histories.

Maintain children's learning journal and records electronically
