Job Description
We are currently working with a fast-growing financial services company with an international presence that is recruiting for an Azure Cloud Engineer to join them on an initial 3-month contract.
The role will be responsible for looking after the Azure infrastructure, including design, deployment and maintenance, whilst also contributing towards other cloud platforms.
The Azure Cloud Engineer will have the following responsibilities:
- Responsible for designing and implementing secure network solutions
- Updating and upgrading Azure cloud infrastructure whilst maintaining minimal downtime
- Using Azure to build virtualised systems
- Implementing automation tools using languages such as Python to manage Azure services
- Building tools within Azure to aid deployment, troubleshooting and monitoring of systems
- Deployment of applications in Azure
- Building software that interacts with Azure cloud services
- Extensive Azure experience as well as experience in AWS environments
- Experience with serverless architecture
- Experience with CloudFormation
- Coding and automation skills in a production environment
- Exposure to code versioning tools
- Experience with Scripting languages such as Python or YAML
- Experience within the financial services industry and industry standards (preferable)
