Job Description
An international investment banking group with significant operations in London, are looking to hire a regulatory specialist into an internal audit team populated by auditors and compliance professionals, who have the remit of minimising regulatory risk within the bank.
Because the role draws on skills from both internal audit and regulatory compliance, the hiring manager is interested in meeting with people from second line compliance as well as internal auditors with strong regulatory knowledge particularly as relates to investment banking activity and topics such as conduct risk.
Regulatory internal audit within investment banking remains a growth area of the market opening up a career path across all lines of defence. The team in which this role sits has doubled in size in a short space of time, opening up career advancement opportunities through to VP and director level and also between audit and other regulatory disciplines within the bank.
