The role

As an Automotive Trimmer, you\'ll have a role that\'s out of the ordinary. You\'ll design, pattern, manufacture and alter all aspects of automotive interiors.

Day to day, you\'ll re-trim components in preparation for them to be fitted to the vehicles. You will work on panels and seats, gluing, cutting and working on specific patterns for each vehicle.

• Produce automotive interior parts using various trim materials
• Produce patterns for automotive interior trim
• Stripping / re-trimming automotive components
• Alter OEM interior trim to facilitate additional fitted equipment

Essential experience of the Vehicle Trimmer:

• Previous experience of vehicle interior trim work
• Produce patterns for a wide range of vehicle trim applications
• Experience of using all types of upholstery adhesives
• Experience of stripping and re-trimming automotive interiors
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve desired results

This role is based onsite at Walsall

The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance level for this role.
