AutoCad Technician, \xc2\xa323000 - \xc2\xa327000.00 per annum, overtime, Immediate Start, Permanent, parking, 28 days leave, Early Finish Fridays

The Role:

Our client has been designing and manufacturing Low Voltage switch gear for over 25 years and has grown to become an international supplier to most transformer manufacturers. They design and manufacture all their own Low Voltage switch gears.

They need an AutoCAD (AutoDesk version)technician for their Drawing Office. One of the main requirements would be to use your vast knowledge of manufacturing engineering and AutoCad 2D software to produce assembled drawings for their switchboards and feeder pillars.

Job Responsibilities are:

• Produce assembled drawings for their range of low voltage switchboards & feeder pillars by modifying of parts/layout of existing diagrams under the instruction of the Drawing Office Manager, using AutoCAD software.
• Detail up drawings to steel or copper manufacturing drawings.
• Fabulous chance to also receive guidance and support to develop your design and layout skills
• Liaising with the Project Engineers and the Workshop colleagues where necessary.

Job requirements

• Have knowledge of manufacturing engineering.
• Have a basic understanding and some experience with AutoCAD 2D software.
• Have attention to detail.
• Be computer literate.
• Able to work to meet production deadlines.
• Willing to work overtime both during the week and Saturday mornings if required.
• Have the right to work in the UK.

Start Date: Immediate Start

Salary: \xc2\xa323000.00 - \xc2\xa327000.00 per annum plus overtime

Benefits: 28 days leave incl 8 bank holidays, parking

Job Type: Permanent

Working Hours: Monday-Thursday: 0830hrs-1730hrs, Friday: 0830hrs-1500hrs with a 60 mins lunchbreak.
