Autism Day Centre Male Support Worker
Job Description
ACE Life Centre is a bespoke service, providing quality provision for adults with autism and related conditions.
We provide a care programme utilising the DIR model to ensure it is right for the individual's care package. Learning never stops. We believe that young adults with autism and related conditions can continue to grow and develop their life skills
We are looking for enthusiastic people to bring their personality, skills and experience to work with us at ACE
We take pride in developing you to deliver our person-centred care approach utilising the DIR model and to provide training and a full understanding of individual differences.
Essential Requirements
? Hold a full UK Driving License
? Have knowledge of ASD and experience of supporting adults or children with Autism.
Responsibilities
? Encourage individuality, confidence, and self-esteem in those we support, optimising their quality of life, promoting their independence.
? Support adults in a range of activities both on-site and in the wider community.
? Whilst brining your own upbeat personality to work every day, become part of a dream team.
? Provide a range of support tasks such as personal care, and develop domestic and social skills.
Key Qualities
? Previous experience in Support Working (Essential).
? Team player and an ability to motivate and support others.
? Passionate about developing adults to continue to learn.
? Willing to learn and develop your skills.
? Flexible, calm, reflective and emotional resilience
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Pay: From 12.60 per hour
