Our Audit Team at SBS is expanding, and we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and successful Internal Audit Senior to join us, preferably with experience within the education sector, to help deliver outstanding internal scrutiny services to schools and educational institutions.

About You:




What we are looking for:


A skilled experience internal audit professional with a strong understanding of risk, compliance and governance. Experience working in educational institutions (preferred but not essential). A confident communicator who can engage and build trust with internal and external stakeholders. Someone proactive, solutions-focused, and ready to be part of a growing team. The ideal applicant will be a qualified or newly qualified accountant through a recognised professional body (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, IIA). You are ambitious and proactive - looking at new ways of working and willing to own your own professional development. You will be agile in your approach and be comfortable working at home, in an office and on-site at a school or academy trust. Candidates must be prepared to travel occasionally, often at short notice, to schools nationwide. Driving licence is essential and this post will be subject to an enhanced DBS.
