Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Audit Senior to join our expanding audit department to assist with managing a diverse and rewarding client portfolio. A qualified/semi-qualified accountant you will work along side the audit manager and partners in managing and delivering audits, and also benefit from ongoing support and development.

The Role:



You will manage be involved in delivering a high quality audit and assurance service.

You will assist in the planning, execution, and completion of audit assignments within agreed budgets and timescales.

We are proud of our reputation for ongoing development. This role provides the opportunity to coach and develop other members of the audit team and enable them to grow their knowledge, experience, and confidence alongside continuing your own audit training and keeping knowledge up to date.

The role will be based predominantly in our Kelso office but may require to travel to clients premise or our other offices.

The Person:



This is a role for an ambitious candidate who is working towards or recently achieved a professional qualification (ACA, ICAS, ACCA or equivalent). Other skills and experience required include:

must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment significant experience in all areas of audit work from planning to completion excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to build strong and trusted relationships with a range of clients and within the team strong organisational skills to prioritise and manage high volumes of work and multiple stakeholders the ability to identify and provide recommendations for improvements to clients' systems and internal controls experience of using Microsoft Office Excel and Word and audit software (ideally MyWorkpapers) as you will be visiting clients within the surrounding areas a full driving licence is desirable.
