Role

The role of the Integrated and Application Audit Director, is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced person to support LSEGs growth strategy by providing insightful, independent assurance. As the Audit Director, you will have the opportunity to work and develop relationships with key partners within LSEG to ensure they are kept informed of audit findings and progress and provide independent assurance over the key applications supporting one of the most prestigious companies in the world!

Role Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of a portfolio of audit work across the LSEG Legal Entities, with a primary focus on integrated and application audits.

Hold responsibility for the assessment of application risks and the delivery of audit assignments as requested by the Group Head of Audit.

Develop the application audit universe for LSEG Legal Entities in collaboration with the Group Head of Audit to ensure a risk based, systematic and consistent approach to internal audit assurance.

Work with Internal Audit leadership to ensure the integrated and application internal audit plan is aligned to current professional standards and the regulatory environment.

Continuously engage with the relevant audit stakeholders to ensure that strong relationships are in place.

Deliver the portion of the audit plan to time and manage our audit risk through compliance with methodology requirements.

Provide thorough oversight and support to the audit work conducted by the team. Maintain overall accountability to deliver the audits to time and quality.

Raise any issues or problems proactively to the Head of Audit to keep overall plan on track.

Actively forward plan to identify hurdles in advance so that there is time to implement solutions.

Work with the audit team to ensure the partners are informed of audit progress and findings to maintain our "no surprise" approach.

Deliver audit findings and outcomes to stakeholders and resolve common queries or differences.

Liaise with the Group Head of Audit to harmonise audit policies, standards and working practices.

Stay ahead of current developments in the auditing professions and changes in legislation and regulation

Manage and develop the internal audit team

Minimum Requirements

Degree or equivalent and / or relevant professional qualification

Extensive previous experience in internal audit or other similar corporate function (risk / compliance)

Extensive stakeholder management experience

Significant leadership experience.

Experience with managing teams onshore and offshore
