xc2xa342,000 - xc2xa350,000 per yearButler Rose Public Practice is excited to assist our client, a well-regarded accounting firm based in the West Midlands, as they seek to add an Audit Assistant Manager to their audit team. They are looking for a talented and motivated individual who can collaborate effectively with clients and work well within a team to deliver exceptional results.Role Requirements:

• Plan audits in advance of fieldwork, addressing identified risks and ensuring objectives are met.
• Allocate responsibilities within the audit team when drafting audit plans.
• Undertake audits for both commercial and not-for-profit clients.
• Lead audit teams of up to five people.
• Ensure audits meet client deadlines and budgets are adhered to.
• Draft management letters to clients, recommending improvements to accounting systems and controls.
• Review audit work performed by junior team members, providing constructive verbal and written feedback as needed.
• Ensure junior team members understand their responsibilities and offer on-the-job training.
• Draft individual and consolidated financial statements (primarily UK GAAP).
• Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

Personal Requirements:

• ACCA (or equivalent) qualification.
• Experience in an Audit and Accounts practice.
• Understanding of regulatory obligations and quality standards.
• Strong ability to identify and assess risks and implement effective controls.
• Excellent client relationship management skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships.
• Effective time management skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Committed to continuous development and growth within the industry.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
