Job Description


We are looking for a proactive and meticulous Audio Visual Project Coordinator to become an integral part of our team in Greater Manchester. This role is pivotal in orchestrating the seamless delivery of AV projects, encompassing resource scheduling, stakeholder communication, and comprehensive project oversight. The ideal candidate will excel in organisational prowess, adeptly manage multiple priorities, and preferably bring experience from the AV sector.Primary Responsibilities:

  • Resource Coordination: Efficiently plan and assign resources to meet project demands.
  • Project Monitoring: Assess engineer reports to confirm timely task completion and address any pending issues.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to relay project updates.
  • Timeline Management: Collaborate with engineers and subcontractors to adhere to project schedules.
  • Correspondence Handling: Promptly manage and respond to emails, ensuring no inquiries are overlooked.
  • Inventory Oversight: Procure necessary stock, keep precise inventory records, and manage product returns.
  • Supplier Negotiation: Engage with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and perform regular cost evaluations.
  • Logistics Coordination: Ensure timely dispatch of goods in alignment with project schedules and logistical considerations.
  • Quotation Management: Prepare, issue, and diligently follow up on client quotations.
  • Order Processing: Generate and manage sales orders and invoices accurately.
  • Documentation Preparation: Assemble comprehensive engineer and survey information packs for site deployments.
  • Project Tracking: Maintain up-to-date project records using Excel and other internal tools.
  • Tender Assistance: Support the development and organisation of tender documents.
Key Skills and Experience:
  • Organisational Excellence: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities for effective stakeholder interaction.
  • Industry Experience: Prior experience in the AV industry is highly advantageous.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Excel and Outlook; familiarity with Sage 200 for accounting and inventory management is beneficial.
  • Adaptability: Capacity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
