Childcare assistant / Housekeeper

Looking for a housekeeper / childcare assistant for a private household on a THURSDAY AFTERNOON ONLY initially.

Hours will increase during school holidays and may increase to one additional afternoon in due course.

3 children ages 6 (girl), 4 (boy), 2 (girl).

It is a fast paced role, requiring someone with lots of energy and who is quick thinking and able to work quickly.

Hours: Initially a Thursday 14:00 - 19:15.

During school holidays, it will be a Tuesday 8-3 plus a Thursday 8- 19:15.

The candidate will have experience working with children, good housekeeping skills and a positive attitude.

Duties and responsibilities:

A big part of the role is picking up and taking kids to clubs / swimming lessons. There will be driving involved. CLEAN licence required. Helping with laundry. Collecting, sorting, washing and ironing Maintaining all surfaces, floors and furniture. There is a separate cleaner so no cleaning necessary but tidying is a requirement. Ensuring the house is presentable at all times. Occasional picking up parcels / forgotten groceries etc / putting groceries away
Own transport required.

Experience / qualifications:

Childcare: 2 years minimum Health and Safety qualification Full UK Driving licence DBS check A big plus if Welsh speaking, to assist with school tutoring
