Job Description

Are you driven by ensuring compliance and managing risks effectively? Bromford is looking for an assurance specialist to join our growing assurance team.


In this role, you'll conduct assurance reviews across various non-financial disciplines, ensuring we meet regulatory, legislative, and internal standards.


Working closely with the assurance manager, you'll deliver an annual assurance plan covering areas like regulatory submissions, health and safety, and HR. You'll analyse data ensuring the accuracy and completeness of regulatory submissions, identify risks, and provide actionable insights to enhance compliance and optimise processes. The role will require substantial engagement with the wider business to build knowledge and confidence in our assurance activity.

The role is permanent and full time. You can be based from either of our main offices in Tewkesbury or Wolverhampton with regular home working available. A basic DBS and a full UK driving licence.



You will have:



Proven experience in audit, assurance, or a related role (essential); within a regulated industry (desirable). Ability to interpret and quantify compliance to regulatory requirements (desirable) Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills (essential). Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills (essential). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (essential); knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and others (desirable). Motivated to learn, grow, and make an impact in a dynamic team. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team. Experience in fast-paced environments, particularly with regulatory deadlines. Knowledge of health and safety auditing and landlord compliance (desirable). Background in social housing, construction, manufacturing, or utilities sectors (desirable). Commitment to continuous professional development.

The closing date is Monday 5th May with interviews taking place on the 13th and 14th of May.
