Owning and managing a portfolio of supervision cases related to the crypto sector
Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to resolve cases in line with departmental processes and agreed SLAs
Forming judgements on supervisory issues within firms, with support and training from colleagues and seniors
Supporting colleagues on complex casework, helping deliver regulatory outcomes that can set precedent for future decisions
Participating in collaboration with law enforcement agencies and regulatory authorities both domestic and international, using FCA powers to reduce and prevent harm
Contributing to projects that help to facilitate BAU work, ranging from developing processes, frameworks, and strategies serving a range of operational and regulatory objectives

Minimum
Experience of analysing information from a broad range of sources and reaching sound, reasoned judgements
Proven experience presenting key issues clearly and succinctly both orally and in writing
Proven experience of building and managing relationships with stakeholders
Essential
Experience of managing competing priorities, often with factors outside of your control
Curiosity and motivation to continually learn about and investigate issues within the firms and industries we supervise
Willingness to learn and develop yourself, taking on new responsibilities and adopting a flexible and pragmatic approach to your work
Ability to manage work with support when required
Ability to identify and escalate issues appropriately
Desirable
Understanding of FCA supervision, risk management and prioritisation approaches
Interest and/or knowledge of the key products, services and conduct risks in crypto or financial crime
Knowledge of prudential analysis and/or insolvencies
