LOCATION
The job is Harrogate office based where we employ a hybrid model with a high degree of flexibility. Although people are welcome to come into the office full time, teams typically work in the office two or three days a week, and from home two or three days a week.
THE ROLE

, and it's an exciting time to jump on board! As design continues to become a core part of how we shape our products, we're looking for an
Associate UX Designer
to help apply user-centered design practices across our product offerings. This is an exciting opportunity to grow within a maturing design team and make a tangible impact on product development.
You will be joining a friendly, talented global design team that will support and mentor you through the next steps of developing your UX skills and career.
However, it's not all hand-holding. You will have opportunities to ease into more responsibility and work directly with development and product teams to solve user problems and contribute to design solutions that will be used by some of the world's leading companies.

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE
Support in the design of features from concept to execution
Assist in user research activities (e.g. usability testing and user interviews)
Create user flows, wireframes and prototypes using Figma and Figjam
Help document design patterns and contribute to design system updates
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are implemented effectively
Continuously learn and apply UX best practices
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
Formal education in human-centered design, or a related field
Understanding of UX design principles and research methods
Familiarity with Figma and Figjam
A strong desire to learn, ask questions, and grow
Great communication and collaboration skills
A portfolio (or sample work) that shows how you approach design problems
WHAT ELSE WOULD BE GREAT
Have an awareness of Agile development methodologies.
Hands-on experience with user research and usability testing.
Experience of B2B software or experience of having worked in a business environment.
A keen eye for the small details that makes a big difference in user experience
A natural curiosity about users needs and passionate about solving problems
You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working with developers, product managers, and other designers
Willingness to engage in design workshops
Experience with Salesforce platform and Lightning Design System
