About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an Associate Tutor in Human Geography to join the Department of History, Geography and Social Sciences and support the delivery of our Human Geography modules for our BA/BSc (Hons) Geography programmes. Joining a friendly and forward thinking team you will make a significant contribution to the delivery of a broad Human Geography curriculum at first and second year undergraduate level across social, cultural and political geography.

About You

As an Associate Tutor in Human Geography, you will:

• Have teaching experience on undergraduate geography programmes or related programmes
• Have an established or promising research profile in human geography or interdisciplinary areas
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise effectively with colleagues and students
• Be able to support the diverse academic and personal needs of individual students
• Be an enthusiastic professional with the ability to work as part of a team as well as work flexibly and demonstrate adaptability and commitment.
