We are delighted to be recruiting an Investment Surveyor to bring their experience and enthusiasm to our investment team based in London. Working within the existing team based in London with a focus on strengthening Carter Jonas\xe2\x80\x99 profile within this market; ensuring all services are communicated to clients, and staff, to maximise cross selling, and increase market share to achieve the objectives and vision of Carter Jonas.

This is very much an entrepreneurial role for someone who has the desire to work in this core commercial surveying discipline, with experienced colleagues. Requiring strong business development and networking skills, with a desire to enhance career development is key. The role is challenging and varied, and will allow the individual to broaden their knowledge, utilise their experience to date. Main tasks:

The role would involve dealing with commercial, office, industrial and some residential/mixed used properties nationwide acting for our investor clients. You will be supported to develop your own caseload, whilst also working on instructions and projects working with experienced colleagues across both, both the investment team and across the commercial division.

• Ability to demonstrate good level of investment knowledge/experience to date
• Generating new leads and building up a portfolio of new clients by actively liaising with peers within the industry, potential and existing clients
• Advising clients on potential acquisitions, disposals and other processes
• Maintaining strong working relationships with existing clients
• Buying, inspecting, and measuring properties and undertaking
• Processing cash flows
• Client liaison and reporting
• Attending meetings with clients, peers and colleagues as required
• Pro-actively participate in the growth of the investment team
• Keeping abreast of any industry news

• Working with other Carter Jonas\xe2\x80\x99s other commercial teams to develop new fee opportunities (cross selling) and to maintain consistency and efficiency
• Ability to promote the investment team within Carter Jonas and beyond

What will it take to be successful?

You will ideally be a qualified surveyor, with experience within a commercial real estate environment. You will have excellent knowledge of investment and trends in the market. It is key for you to be able to communicate effective, with the ability to build and develop new relationships with both clients and colleagues. You will have an enthusiastic work ethic, with ambition to succeed and deliver in your role. Hours Full time
