Role Purpose

As an Associate Product Manager, you will continually work to understand the challenges the business faces and will deliver change through technology teams. You will be responsible for our Pricing capabilities and work closely with the technology teams to ensure they have clear priorities and build impactful features.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do

As an Associate Product Manager, you will:

• Work with the Product Manager, Technical Team Lead and the development team to deliver both innovative initiatives and strategic company objectives

• Build new features by breaking down and scoping the work with the development team

• Discover, analyse and measure the value of new features, seeking outcomes which support our objectives and key results

• Act as product owner for the scrum teams: defining user stories, prioritising the backlog, helping set sprint goals and accepting the completed work meets agreed criteria

• Work alongside key stakeholders in trading and technology

• Work with the Product Manager to create a roadmap that prioritises value and enables delivery of IG\'s business goals

• 4+ years experience working in software development as a product manager, product owner, business analyst or similar

• Proven ability to have helped define and execute a product vision, strategy and roadmap with senior product leaders

• Proven ability to go from strategic planning to delivery of both innovative initiatives and tactical activities that optimize business value

• Able to understand commercial imperatives of how IG products work and the commercial models that underpin them

• Delivered multiple features via an agile software delivery cycle, experienced with projects at scale, with several different streams and different stakeholders

• Demonstrable ability to write user stories, manage product backlog and work with the development team

• Experienced in agile delivery methods such as Scrum and Kanban

• Ability to negotiate with, inspire and support stakeholders

• Work alongside key stakeholders, including trading, technology, commercial, marketing and operations
