About the role
We are seeking a Dance Movement Psychotherapist to join our team of passionate and committed staff, delivering education and training in the arts therapies and arts in health. The successful candidate will be required to supervise and teach on our MA Dance Movement Psychotherapy programme, and our undergraduate programmes in arts and health.
As a registered professional with the Association for Dance Movement Psychotherapy, UK, alongside a range of clinical experience, you will have some experience of teaching or supporting trainee dance movement psychotherapists. Ideally, you will be a registered supervisor, or able to engage with the training through Private Practice and/or UKCP pathways.
This is an Associate Lecturer post (working days to include Monday and/or Tuesday) where you may be responsible for facilitating the full range of learning opportunities across UG and PG programmes as well as helping trainees and students to develop their knowledge, understanding and application of theory and research relating to practice. You will be a confident and competent user of technology to support learning, teaching and assessment, as well as your own practice.

Please note that unfortunately, this role will not attract sufficient points to obtain a sponsored Skilled Worker visa under the UK Visas & Immigration points-based immigration system; however, applications are welcome from candidates who do not currently have the right to work in the UK, but who would be eligible to obtain a valid visa via another route.
