This role will ensure a cohesive and aligned development and execution of the Oncology Translational Research vision and mission through the execution of core strategic projects, encompassing innovative technologies and cutting-edge science to support the delivery of transformational medicines leading to better outcomes for patients. The role of Associate Director - Scientific Project Management within the Oncology Translational Research organization will provide operational and program/project management support for precision medicine project plans, translational research studies, and companion diagnostic development, including workstream coordination, scientific meeting management, finance operations and contracting, and harmonization GSK functional business partners (Business Development, Finance, Oncology TA functions) and vendors. The Translational Research Project Manager is responsible for ensuring internal stakeholder alignment, creating integrated project/program timelines, tracking and verifying completion of project deliverables and milestones, identifying and mitigating project risks, and timely communication to relevant stakeholders within the Oncology Translational Research.
