Job Summary: The main purpose of this position is to design, develop and implement activities that enable Seqirus to secure accelerated market access, optimal reimbursement, recommendations and realize the maximum commercial potential of current and future Seqirus products marketed in Europe. Your actions will enhance the effectiveness of the sales and marketing groups and further develop the reputation of Seqirus as a credible, research-based vaccines organization that brings high value influenza vaccines to stakeholders in Europe. Major Accountabilities:

  • Develop & execute MA strategy in Europe for the new pipeline products, extension of existing indication and for existing products
  • Managing in timely fashion the preparation, submission and follow-up of pricing and reimbursement files for product portfolio:
  • Produce local pricing and reimbursement files including health economic modelling and budget impact analyses with alignment from global HEOR and Market Access, and ensure timely submission to local health authorities
  • Follow up with national and regional authorities and interact with their representatives as appropriate
  • Interact with internal and external customers and stakeholders (including HTAs) to collect or generate all information necessary for pricing and reimbursement submissions, including reimbursement programs to resolve/decrease barriers to entry for Seqirus products
  • Provide support to operating company departments on pricing and reimbursement related matters
  • Supporting the European pricing and reimbursement groups with information on local pricing and reimbursement requirements and contribute to the European strategies:
  • Be actively involved in setting up and participating in functional networking groups at global level, however with a focus on Europe, concerning market access Execute European projects and tasks: o Support Europe with adequate information on Seqirus products pricing and reimbursement requirements o Contribute to Europe strategies and execute Europe tasks and projects to achieve successful market access price reimbursement and recommendations
  • Act as a spokesperson for your region and share local challenges and bottlenecks in order to create an international platform to set up best practices and create synergies
  • In accordance with pricing and reimbursement governance policies, actively manage prices of the company\'s products within Europe
  • Designs, develops and implements effective market access strategies relying on evidence-based medicine review
  • Screening and interpreting pharmaceutical legislation and other legal information relevant for our business operations:
  • Remain up-to-date and ensure communication to considered persons on legal requirements, all new laws and regulations related to pharmaceutical legislation on pricing and reimbursement matters
  • Continuously gather competitive intelligence about market access and pricing activities for existing and emerging competitors
  • Representing the company externally within the region with regard to pricing and reimbursement for product portfolio:
  • Ensure leading presence at meeting with authorities, clients, industry associations and other partners regarding the pharma business. Develop and maintain contacts with key pricing and reimbursement decision makers
  • Creating and maintaining a strategic European market access and Pricing plan for Seqirus portfolio
  • Representing the European team within our international functional networks and be the market access expert for your region at GBST and Value teams
  • Regularly assessing the market access landscape (pricing, reimbursement, access, stakeholder mapping) not only for key EU 5 markets but also for other, smaller EU markets
  • Developing strategies and tactics to ensure a positive access decision and reimbursement at highest possible price:
  • Regionalize Global Value Dossier(s)
  • Support EU countries with localizing the Global Value Dossier and Global Value Proposition
  • Ensure that European payer perspective is included in activities at European level and Global level
  • Actively refreshing personal and team knowledge base regarding the external market access environment
  • Defining and implementing strategies that allow markets to recognize the appropriate value of Seqirus vaccines
  • Providing input into publication plans and reviewing publications
  • B.S. or Master\'s degree or higher in Economics, Health Economics, related discipline or healthcare disciplines, MBA preferred
  • Minimum 10 years in pharmaceutical business with focus in Europe region with experience in market access or health economics, with a comprehensive understanding of the pricing /reimbursement environment, region and market-level recommendations, understanding of the public/private payer environment and the government/payer review process
  • Deep knowledge concerning pricing mechanisms and regulations
  • Understanding or experience in public relations and/ or government affairs
  • Knowledge and experience preparing and submitting HTA dossiers
  • Ability to review and analyze business and medical data
  • Project management skills and experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work well in both a team environment and independently
