We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice 1 day a week (Wed or Fri) as we are taking on a number of new NHS patients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality dental care while ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction. This role requires a strong foundation in dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Saturdays available for private emergency sessions.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients.
Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on patient needs.
Perform a variety of dental procedures, including restorative, preventive, and cosmetic treatments.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient practice operations.
Stay current with advancements in dentistry and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Dentistry or equivalent qualification recognised by the General Dental Council (GDC).
Valid GDC registration to practice as a dentist in the UK.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.
A commitment to providing exceptional patient care with a focus on comfort and quality.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
