No1 Victoria Terrace Dental Clinic is independently owned and operated. Our little clinic is well run, civilised and we have a growing list of lovely patients. Our practice principal has a history of successfully mentoring dentists to join the NHS performers list and we operate an open door policy. We believe work should be a happy productive place for all the team. We have a transparent fee and pay structure. Remuneration is based on 50% of private earnings and a very competitive UDA rate. Therapy fees are subsidised and lab fees are set at 50%. You will always be paid on time and we have no bad debt.

Job Overview:

Following the relocation of our lovely associate we are seeking a friendly, skilled and motivated Associate Dentist to join our small team providing routine dental care on our "Complete Smile" scheme (an independent equivalent to the NHS with far more preferable terms of remuneration) and privately. We do have a small NHS contract with mixed or a children only option being offered as part of this role if desired.

The position would suit someone perhaps looking for :

flexible hours (family friendly employer) a supportive environment for their first position post FD training a non-target driven role away from the NHS but still providing a similar type of care on our "Complete Smile Scheme" a role where they can build on their skill set to provide more complex treatments over time including orthodontics, perio, implants, smile enhancements and facial aesthetics the opportunity to build a successful private patient base which is very much untapped
This is a part time position with either 1 day a week (Tuesday or Thursday) or a Saturday morning. We have excellent dental therapy support if the candidate wished to take a team approach to care. Therapist fees are subsidised.

With the right candidate we are willing to invest in equipment and materials in order to expand the services we currently offer

Requirements :

GDC registered qualified dentist with permission to work in the UK Good references NHS performer number desired Flexible start date for the right candidate, immediate start and staged start also available

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Dentistry or equivalent GDC registration and valid license to practice Excellent patient care skills Effective communication skills Ability to work in a mixed Private/NHS setting
