The University of Bedfordshire Business School (UBBS) is seeking to appoint an Associate Dean (Education and Student Experience). The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an excellent track record of initiating change in curriculum design and diverse learning pedagogies. You will be an outstanding communicator with a successful track record of improving student experience metrics including National Student Survey, i-grad and University Student Surveys. You will lead the Faculty in meeting and exceeding its targets from the University Strategy and Key Performance indicators.
The successful candidate will effectively collaborate across the faculty and the university community to develop and deliver strategies that support our students and implement an effective education strategy. The post holder will represent and lead the Faculty on University Education and Student Experience Board and related committees and working groups.
We are currently undertaking major reviews of all of undergraduate and postgraduate provision whilst at the same time diversifying our portfolio of courses including doctoral, undergraduate and postgraduate, apprenticeships and HTQ\'s. It is an exciting time of innovation and change and we are seeking an exceptional individual to help us lead and shape this change.
As a member of the Faculty Executive you will work closely with the Executive Dean and Executive Group, be target and performance driven, an effective influencer, collaborator and networker across the University HE and Business School sector. The Faculty has a diverse operation and in particular you will also work closely with course leaders and portfolio leads developmentally to ensure the delivery of impactful enhancement to our courses and the staff teaching teams.
