Job Description
Kennedys is looking for a Spanish speaking Associate to join its Energy and Marine team in London to work on high value insurance disputes. The team undertakes a broad spectrum of work in energy and marine plus related fields extending to Terrorism, Political Violence and Aviation.
We have one of the most experienced teams of lawyers working in the international insurance and reinsurance market. Throughout our integrated global network of offices we have acquired extensive experience advising the insurers and reinsurers of the world's major multinationals in these fields. For example, we are currently advising in connection with several losses valued in excess of US$1 billion.

Required experience
2-5 years' UK Qualified Solicitor or CILEX qualified with the relevant experience
Some knowledge of the Spanish language. Prior insurance experience is desirable but not essential for the right candidates. To thrive in this environment candidates will need to be intuitive proactive and keen to use their initiative Strong communication skills, both verbal and written are a pre-requisite together with strong technical, analytical and organisational skills.
