Assistant To Financial Controller
Job Description
Working for the Hoopers Department Store Group, based in our Finance Department within the Torquay store; we are looking to recruit a second to our Financial Controller. Salary FTE 30k-35k pro rata.
Main purpose of the role:
To support the Financial Controller in all aspects of operating the Finance departments for the group, but in particular in the areas of stock control, expense control, administration, customer accounts and HR.
To deputise for the Financial Controller when required.
This role is a part time position within a retail operator; therefore some weekend work and travel might be required (e.g. bi-annual stocktake at another store).
Candidates will have to have some experience working within a finance environment. They must be AAT qualified and/or currently in studying for CIMA/ACCA.
