We are seeking a passionate and dedicated coach to join our Rugbytots team.
Rugbytots offer fun, structured play sessions for children aged from 2 to 5 years old. Our coaches deliver sessions with energy, enthusiasm and excitement, to create an atmosphere that is unique and engaging for children and parents alike. We do this by delivering our specifically designed programme for each age group in a fun and way, whilst teaching them how to catch, pass, kick, run with the ball and play as part of a team. The main objectives are for the children to have fun and grow in confidence during their time with us.
We are currently looking for enthusiastic, highly motivated and energetic individuals to join our growing team of Lead and Assistant coaches. We offer part time hours at weekends (typically Saturday and/or Sunday mornings) with the potential opportunities for midweek sessions in the future.
Main responsibilities:
Work closely with the Lead Coach to help run the classes and demonstrate activities
Set up the equipment for classes and individual activities
Identify and help children who need extra assistance
Provide children with positive feedback and encouragement
Help the children to learn and have fun!
Essential attributes:
An ability to engage with children with energy, enthusiasm and excitement
Excellent organisational, verbal communication and listening skills
Flexibility and adaptability
Lively, bubbly and fun person with a high level of patience
Ability to work in the UK
Desirable attributes:
Experience of working with young children and/or previous coaching experience. This is desirable but not essential for somebody with the personality we are looking for
