We are excited to announce an opportunity to join a dynamic team on a residential development in Ramsgate.The RoleAs an Assistant Site Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the site. Working closely with the Site Manager, you will oversee site operations, manage subcontractors, and maintain high standards of health and safety, quality, and efficiency.Responsibilities

• Support the Site Manager in all aspects of site operations.
• Oversee and manage subcontractors, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management.
• Conduct site inductions and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
• Handle minor issues and escalate major challenges as needed.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience in residential construction projects, ideally on new build developments.
• Qualifications: Valid CSCS card, SMSTS/SSSTS, and First Aid certification are essential.
• Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with construction health and safety standards.
