POSITION SUMMARY
80s casual classics is looking for an Assistant Store Manager to assist in the running of our busy store in Glasgow.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assisting the Store manager in the management and motivation of the Retail Sales Assistants to improve the quality of their service, meet sales targets and increase sales and profit for the store
Organising merchandise on shop floor, creating appealing visual displays, marketing, videos and promotions
Providing all our customers with a positive shopping experience, providing assistance and advise on clothing and footwear choices
Processing payments and refunds
Assisting manager with any staff schedules, training and recruitment when necessary
Organising in-shop events and other sales promotions.
Key holder
Working 40 hours a week between Monday to Sunday
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous supervisory/ assistant management experience within men's fashion sales environment
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to maintain a customer-focused environment
Willingness to work shifts of a specified duration on weekends, evenings or during the Christmas and Easter seasons or on bank holidays
Ability to collaborate with different people and as part of a team
Outstanding communication skills, including written and verbal communication
Leadership skills to motivate the team of Retail Sales Assistants and drive results
Ability to use a computer and competency with the most popular software packages
Commitment to continuous learning and flexibility to adapt to business needs
