We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of daily operations, delivering exceptional customer service, and supporting the management team in achieving business goals.

Duties

Assist in supervising daily restaurant operations to ensure high standards of service and food quality. Help manage staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations. Oversee food preparation and production processes to maintain food safety and hygiene standards. Collaborate with culinary staff to ensure menu items are prepared to specification and presented attractively. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Implement promotional activities to enhance customer engagement and drive sales. Maintain a clean and organised environment in both front-of-house and back-of-house areas.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both staff and customers. Experience in bartending is advantageous but not essential. A passion for culinary arts and an understanding of food production processes. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
