As our Assistant Restaurant Leader, you\xe2\x80\x99ll lead the team in our Cast Iron Restaurant and Brew Bar and also support the Food & Beverage Manager with running events in Conference and Banqueting as and when required.

You\xe2\x80\x99ll make sure you and the team know every dish on the menu, so you can make recommendations and answer any questions customers may have. You\xe2\x80\x99ll make sure their food and drinks are served quickly, efficiently and with a smile - and if there are any issues, you\xe2\x80\x99ll deal with them right away. Thanks to you, our guests will feel well-fed, happy and want to come back for more.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do

• Lead and supervise shifts in Cast Iron Restaurant and Brew Bar to ensure all shifts run with a seamless approach
• Lead and supervise conferences & events when required, ranging from small board meetings to weddings \xe2\x80\x93 every day is different and all events are tailored to the individuals
• Liaise with event organisers to ensure all expectations are delivered and exceeded
• Be knowledgeable about all food and beverage items that are offered and ensure the team carry the same knowledge
• Ensure compliance with all food and beverage policies, standards and procedures
• Inspect storage areas for cleanliness, organization and FIFO
• Complete stock inventories on a regular basis and order stock as required
• Support with training and developing the team
• Establish and maintain open, collaborative relationships with the other hotel teams and be flexible to supporting in all areas of the hotel if required
• Identify, develop and introduce ways to upsell and increase revenue within the department
• Support with developing seasonal promotions to drive additional sales
