The Role

We are seeking an Assistant / Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial aspects of retail refurbishment projects. Reporting directly to the Managing Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring project success.

Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing Construction Management Contracts. Managing Collateral Warranties and JCT Contracts. Procuring and managing trade packages. Conducting cash flow forecasting. Preparing monthly valuations and managing variations/Final Accounts (FA). Providing weekly commercial reports and updates. Attending weekly design and progress meetings. Supporting projects with new-build commercial construction expertise.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

Degree-qualified in a relevant field or equivalent experience. Strong knowledge of construction management and contract administration. Familiarity with JCT contracts and collateral warranties. Excellent team player with a proactive and professional attitude. Ideally based in or around London working out of our West London office.
