A great opportunity has arisen at Orton Hall to join the fantastic team at Orton Hall Hotel & Spa. We are looking as Assistant Pub Manager that has passion, drive, loves customers and integrates well with the team and assists the Pub Manager to put their own spin on the offering and the running of the pub. A fantastic opportunity to join a great team!

Your responsibilities would be:

Assisting the pub manager with the day to day running of the business

Leading the team to deliver excellence during service and ensuring every guest is happy

Managing the cellar to ensure every pint is perfect

Organising and delivering the many functions we do including wakes, weddings, and birthdays (need to be IT/Excel competent)

Freedom to use your own ideas to drive sales and organise events

Previous experience preferred

Training and coaching of the team and supporting the newer members with their development

Attending the weekly and monthly department meeting to report back on performance

40 hours/5 shifts per week, opens, closes, mids

To assist with Cash control and maintaining stock levels daily

To present a positive image of the organisation by being polite, friendly and helpful to all visitors

To effectively supervise, direct and motivate the bar and floor staff

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 26,000.00 per year
