\xc2\xa325,000 - \xc2\xa330,000, Hassocks - Outskirts (own transport essential), Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5pm, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, pension, parking

The Role

Due to expansion, an opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Project Manager to join a leading telecommunications infrastructure and installations company. Working as part of the Client Delivery team, the Assistant Project Manager is responsible for the co-ordination and delivery of assigned projects. You will be responsible for ensuring all areas provide updated information to enable delivery of projects to hit their targets. A point of control between all relevant parties ensuring that every task is monitored, chased and updated as necessary to meet the agreed scheduled dates.

  • Provide accurate updates and reports on jobs and delivery
  • Preparing project updates and maintaining project schedules
  • Host calls with the Build Managers, Senior Site Project Managers and Delivery and Compliance Managers
  • Provide field teams with all relevant details, updates and risks to ensure delivery of projects
  • Review Planning Packs and advise the business the most efficient approach to raise Permits and ensure works can be undertaken as quickly as possible
  • Co-ordinate the Crew Schedule of Works, working with the Project Managers to deliver a workstack across all of NIO Comm\'s clients
  • Manage schedules and programmes for each project using tools such as MSP
  • Maintain good working relationships with clients, updating them on project progress, risks and costs of projects.
Requirements

The role of Assistant Project Manager would suit someone with experience in running the coordination of a project in a technical / structured project environment. If you have some exposure to the Telecoms sector this could be advantageous. You will be a diligent worker who is comfortable in a multi-tasking role.

Due to the very rural location of the company, it is essential that you have your own transport.
