We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare assistant to join our team. As a Childcare assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of children in our care. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children.
You must be a minimum of level 2 CCLD or equivalent for this post.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and nurturing care to children in a safe environment
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare space
- Follow established routines and schedules for meals, naps, and playtime
- Engage in active play with children to encourage physical activity and social interaction

- Ensure the safety of all children by closely supervising their activities at all times
Skills:
- Experience working with children in a childcare or similar setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
- Ability to provide leadership and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine adapt to changing situations and handle stressful situations calmly
