Applus UK are looking for a proactive and organised
Assistant Office Administrator
to provide essential invoicing and administrative support to our busy Aviation and Test House department.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Assistant Office Administrator, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
Supporting invoicing, costing, quotations, monthly reporting, and general administration tasks, under the direction of the Aviation Administrator, Team Leader, and Aviation Manager.
Communicating with customers to understand their requirements and liaising with suppliers to raise purchase orders.
Managing and maintaining office supplies, including stationery and equipment stocks.
Organising travel arrangements for UK and overseas assignments, including booking flights, ferries, and accommodation.
Scheduling medical appointments and eye tests for staff as required.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Previous administrative experience in a fast-paced office environment, working with a variety of office systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with colleagues, clients, and suppliers.
A positive and professional approach to work, with a strong commitment to the Aviation Administrator role.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage your workload independently.
High attention to detail and a methodical working style.
GCSE qualifications in Maths and English.
Desirable Skills:
Experience using SAP and Ariba systems would be advantageous.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 12,700.00-14,700.00 per year
Expected hours: 20 per week
