Assistant Merchandiser \xe2\x80\x93 Beauty

Quest Search & Selection are partnering with this luxury multi-brand retail business that prides itself with working with some of the largest, global branded & own label Home, Beauty, Outdoor & Fashion brands.

In this Assistant Merchandiser role you will monitor the stock from an allocation and forecasting perspective running reports, analysis and stock management, you will ensure that the right products are in the right place (physical and on-line stores) . This role will be partnering with some of the most exciting, world\xe2\x80\x99s renowned beauty brands!

Key Responsibilities of this Assistant Merchandiser \xe2\x80\x93 Beauty position \xe2\x80\x93

• Manage and/or use weekly reporting on brand performance
• Assistant with forecasting for new launch
• Re-forecasting WSSI figures
• Putting together Trade Packs for trade meeting.
• Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of stock by managing supplier relationships and communicating issues to the Commercial and the wider team where relevant.
• Manage the discontinued stock through price changes
• Build a relationship with the Warehouse to ensure that stock is processed in an effective and timely mann
• Liaison with stores regarding hitting current stock & availability target
• Utilising Excel and have experience using Pivot tables
• Work collaboratively with the wider business, including Marketing, Social, eComm, Logistics, Accounts and Analytics team.
• Assist with OTB budgets.
• Overseeing old and terminal stock

Requirements for this Assistant Merchandiser \xe2\x80\x93 Beauty position \xe2\x80\x93

• 1 year + experience within a Merchandising or Allocation role .
• Ideally operating as a senior merchandise administrator or allocator looking or that next step up.
• Ideally you would have fashion or beauty experience but this is not essential
• Strong Excel skills
• Has the right to work in the UK indefinitely
• Keen to develop their Merchandising career
• Great stakeholder experience
• Structured approach to work, with the ability to confidentially plan and prioritise your workload
• Confident in navigating data to interpret and analyse different reports
