Duties

Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to quality standards. Lead and motivate kitchen staff, providing guidance and support in culinary tasks and food production processes. Oversee food safety compliance, ensuring all health regulations are met within the kitchen environment. Collaborate with the management team to develop menus and optimise kitchen efficiency. Engage with customers to enhance their dining experience, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly. Train new staff members in hospitality practices, kitchen procedures, and bartending techniques as needed. Help manage inventory levels, placing orders for supplies while minimising waste.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential, with a focus on culinary or kitchen roles. Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team effectively. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices within a kitchen environment is highly desirable. Experience in bartending or beverage management would be advantageous but not mandatory. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude are crucial for success in this role.
