Position:

Assistant Manager / Restaurant Manager

Salary:

30,000 plus service charge tips and upselling bonuses

Hours:

45-48 hours per week, including weekends (Sundays are busy)

Accommodation:

Live-in may be available at 110 per week with a private bathroom

The Role:

As an Assistant Manager, you'll be responsible for leading by example and managing a team of 45 staff.. Your role will be hands-on, ensuring customers are looked after and that service systems are followed to the letter.

If you're someone who believes in getting involved with the team, working on the floor, and engaging with guests, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities:



Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service. Make sure the service system is working and being done. Be hands-on, ensuring guests are always prioritized. Help manage systems, communication, and service operations to maintain smooth service. Upsell at the table to boost sales and maximize tips. Demonstrate a positive, proactive attitude and assist the team during busy periods. Ensure the team adheres to the service systems. Weekends are especially busy and you will be expected to manage the team during peak service times.

Who We Are Looking For:



Ideally A non-smoking, professional Front of House manager who is passionate about people and hospitality. Someone with experience in customer service or hospitality who thrives in a fast-paced environment trying to get the best out of part time students on the weekends. Teaching them techniques of hospitality. A " I can fix it" can-do attitude . Leading a team by example means you are out working with the team or delegate and check they are achieving their best. A mature, reliable individual with a genuine interest in providing exceptional service. A candidate who is punctual, reliable, and willing to learn. Overall we're looking for a candidate that puts the customer first, creating a memorable experience.

Requirements:



Own transport or the willingness to live in (live-in accommodation available for the right candidate). Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is an advantage. Strong leadership and communication skills. Charismatic and engaging with a passion for customer service. Ability to manage a large team with a focus on maintaining high standards.
