About the role...

The Shakespeare is one of the power houses of our Central London estate. Situated directly opposite Victoria Station in a busy and vibrant area close to Buckingham Palace and the highest concentration of hotels in the capital. This pub has it all: high volume sales, large customer footprint, several drinking areas. separate downstairs / cellar bar, pizza menu, hefty food trade and live entertainment.

Due to its central location the pub boasts an eclectic mix of customers: Travellers & commuters, International & domestic tourists, Shoppers, Local office and retail workers, Local residents. We are looking for a career focused Assistant Manager who wants to make a name for themselves by being part of this team. The ideal candidate should have some experience of working in a high volume drinks environment and be able to take independent decisions.

What you\'ll do as an Assistant Manager...

Support the General Manager in the day to day running of the business and leading the business in their absence.

Bring our brand to life by leading the team in delivering amazing experiences for our customers

Act as a role model for the team support with training and development

Be a champion of brand standards & ensure customer & team safety at all times
