Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our establishment, ensuring exceptional service and adherence to food safety standards. This position requires a strong background in hospitality and food production, with a focus on team management and leadership.

Duties

Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service. Support food preparation and production processes, maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. Lead and motivate the team, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and excellence. Train new staff members in culinary techniques, food safety protocols, and customer service practices. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed to maintain smooth operations. Collaborate with the management team to implement promotional activities that enhance customer engagement. Ensure compliance with health regulations and company policies at all times.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a leadership role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of food production processes, food preparation techniques, and culinary practices. Excellent bartending skills are an asset but not mandatory. Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively while promoting a culture of teamwork and respect. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices is essential. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs.
